Immediate medical attention is required if you experience:

• Severe chest pain or discomfort that radiates to the arm, neck, or jaw.
• Shortness of breath that is sudden and unrelieved by rest.
• Dizziness, fainting, or a rapid/irregular heartbeat.
• Symptoms resembling those of a heart attack, such as chest pain that persists for more than a few minutes.

 Do's 

• Follow-up care.
• Follow your doctor's instructions regarding medications to prevent clot formation and manage blood pressure and cholesterol.
• Healthy diet: Consume a heart-healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein.
• Stay active: Engage in light physical activity as your doctor recommends (cardiac rehabilitation may be suggested).
• Monitor symptoms:  Watch for any recurrence of chest pain, shortness of breath, or other symptoms.
• Take medications as prescribed.

 Don'ts

• Don't smoke or drink alcohol excessively.
• Avoid heavy lifting or intense physical activity for the first few weeks post-surgery.
• Don't skip medications or alter your dosage without consulting your healthcare provider.
• Don't consume foods high in saturated fats, trans fats, or salt.
