Dr. A.B. Govindaraj is a highly esteemed orthopedic surgeon with a career that spans over three decades.
After completing his MBBS from the University of Madras in 1981, he pursued further specialization by obtaining his FRCS from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons in Glasgow in 1985.
He spent eight years in the UK, honing his skills in orthopedic and joint replacement surgeries under the mentorship of renowned surgeons.
Upon returning to India in 1990, Dr. Govindaraj has been instrumental in advancing orthopedic care, performing over 10,000 surgeries.
His expertise is particularly notable in joint replacement surgeries, with a focus on bilateral knee replacements.
Currently, he serves as the Director and Senior Consultant in Orthopedics at MGM Healthcare in Chennai, where he continues to contribute significantly to patient care and the medical community.
