Dr. Sushant Srivastava is a renowned cardiovascular surgeon with over 28 years of experience.
He completed his M.Ch. in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery from AIIMS, New Delhi 1994, following an MS in General Surgery from Patna Medical College in 1991.
Dr. Srivastava gained national prominence by performing successful bypass surgery on a 96-year-old patient, possibly the oldest reported patient to have undergone this operation in India.
He was actively associated with the Heart Transplant and Ventricular Assist Device Program at AIIMS and was in charge of donor management. At AIIMS, he assisted in the country's first and subsequent 10 heart transplants.
Dr. Srivastava is proficient in English and Hindi, which allows him to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
