Dr. Rajan completed his surgical training at renowned institutions in the country, including PGI Chandigarh and GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi.
He then pursued his interest in treating spinal disorders by working with leading international experts in spine surgery in the UK and the US.
Before joining Artemis as the Head of Spine Surgery and Associate Director of Neurosurgery, he served as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery, Chief Spine Surgeon, and Head of Neurosurgery at various central government and large Private Hospitals in Delhi.
Dr. Rajan was selected for the International World Federation of Neurosurgeons Fellowship in the USA in 2009.
He was also honored with the 'AWARD OF EXCELLENCE IN SPINE SURGERY' at the Global Healthcare Excellence Awards in New Delhi for his contributions to spine surgery.
Dr. Rajan is known in national neurosurgery circles for applying and popularizing new techniques for treating complex spinal disorders, particularly at the Craniovertebral Junction and Lumbosacral Junction.
Dr. Rajan has performed over 3000 surgeries, including complex spine cases and those complicated by other surgeons.
His expertise covers both open and minimally invasive spine surgeries for various congenital, degenerative, scoliotic, traumatic, and infective spinal problems.
Dr. Rajan is recognized for using Minimally Invasive Hole Spine Surgery Techniques for conditions such as slipped disc, Lumbar Canal Stenosis, and Spinal Tumors.
He is frequently invited to speak at regional and international scientific meetings and serves as National Guest Faculty at Live Operational Teaching Courses.
Additionally, he has authored and co-authored numerous publications in national and international journals and book chapters.
