Dr. Paritosh S. Gupta is the Head of the Department of General, Minimal Access, and Bariatric Surgery at Artemis Hospitals, Gurgaon, India.
He joined the hospital in December 2012 as a Senior Consultant and later became the Head of the Department.
Before Artemis, he was the Head of the Department of General Surgery and minimal access surgery at the Indian Spinal Injury Centre, Nova Specialty Surgery, and Columbia Asia Hospital.
Dr. Gupta has over 17 years of experience in Delhi and the NCR region and has performed more than 14,000 successful surgeries, making him one of the most experienced surgeons in his field.
He graduated from Sh. M.P. Shah Medical College, Jamnagar, Gujarat, earned his M.S. in General Surgery from the same institution.
He is board-certified by the National Board of Examinations (D.N.B., Gen Surgery).
He is a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences.
In 2016, he completed a leadership and management program at IIM Calcutta.
Dr. Gupta has been awarded FMAS (Fellow Minimal Access Surgery) by AMASI and FAIS (Fellow Association of Surgeons of India) for his contributions to general surgery.
Dr. Gupta is an active trainer and faculty member at the prestigious Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education (EISE) in New Delhi, specializing in Solid Organ Laparoscopic Surgery.
He also teaches D.N.B. postgraduate students at Artemis Hospitals.
He has contributed to developing Artemis's FNB (Minimal Access Surgery) super-specialty teaching program.
Additionally, he is a faculty member for FIAGES (Fellowship of the Indian Association of Gastro-Endoscopic Surgeons).
He actively participates in the Renal Transplant Committee, Infection Control Committee, and Operation Theatre Committee, helping optimize surgical processes and reduce OT turnaround time.
Dr. Gupta is registered with the Gujarat Medical Council and Delhi Medical Council and is a life member of several prestigious medical associations, including ASI, OSSI, IAGES, and AMASI.
