Dr. (Col.) C.P. Roy VSM is an accomplished heart specialist with over 30 years of experience in the Indian Armed Forces and leading medical institutions.
He has held significant roles, including Head of the Department of Medical Education in Cardiology and Senior Consultant in this field. In these positions, he has trained many students pursuing advanced qualifications in cardiology.
Dr. Roy earned his medical degrees from the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, including his MBBS and MD in Medicine. He later specialized in Cardiology at PGI in Chandigarh.
Throughout his career, he has worked in various Army hospitals and served as a Professor of Cardiology at his alma mater, where he played a vital role in training future cardiologists.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to cardiology, the Hon. President of India honored Dr. Roy with the 'Vishisht Seva Medal' (VSM).
Before joining Max Healthcare, he spent eight years as a Senior Consultant at Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre in New Delhi, where he remained dedicated to advancing medical education and research and produced numerous publications in the field.
