I was engaged in continuing medical education (CME) initiatives and played a role in the intraocular lens (IOL) implantation training program at the institute. At Fortis Escorts Hospital and Research Centre, a renowned 250-bed super specialty ISO-approved facility, I worked on developing and maintaining quality control practices and protocols.
Additionally, I coordinated outreach programs, including peripheral polyclinics and multidisciplinary camps catering to rural and urban populations. I was instrumental in formulating innovative surgical packages, contributing to increased departmental revenue. This included revising pricing strategies for outpatient consultations and procedures.
